Take the ferry from Puntarenas to reach Paquera and travels to some wild slopes to the south. Then comes across the town Cobano , turn left - and lands 20 kilometers further on a coast , with beaches and rocks, so ancient as to Columbus' time , see small houses around a natural harbor , which is only a sandy beach , meets with restaurants, bars, a colorful church , a souvenir shop where you can also make phone calls and buy stamps and probably ends up at some point in a bar

Here is a colorful community of Germans, Swiss , Canadians, Americans , OItaliener , Swedes, French , etc. has established. Montezuma's crowd is international, and the mood too. The end of the world by the way is even more a few kilometers of gravel - holes - way and two rivers , right at the Absolute Nature Reserve Cabo Blanco, a mystical place of Native Americans . As something comes across a tourist almost untouched nature reserve and , if you've made the four -mile march to the Cape , in sandy- white beaches . The National Park Cabo Blanco itself is a maze of giant dry forest trees, and because here come hardly any tourists , one still has a good chance to see many animals and birds. However, please note that the reserve is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays !
