Samara is a great town with a nice mix of local and foreigners living peacefully together. It is small yet has lots of delicious restaurants and bars options, outdoor activities and family things to do. Most tourists prefer to live right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, yet long timers start looking for options a short distance from the tourist center, as you may imagine, it can get a little crazy on weekend, especially on holidays. Living close to the beach takes away privacy and the salty air ruins all metal, batteries, everything!
