The design of the 2 story home is contemporary modern with earthy elements including natural stone walls, stone sculpture and wooden architectural elements originating from Indonesia. The natural stone and wood elements incorporated into the structure give a sense of balance to the overall feeling of the home. There is also a strong play on water as a central feature to the home as you initially step over a small cascading waterfall which flows into the outdoor pool through a channel built into an exterior wall of the house. The main social area downstairs joins with the kitchen under a very tall ceiling in the living room and kitchen area. From this level, one steps up to a master suite with a private bath and then a flight of stairs takes you up to two more bedrooms that share a bathroom.
