The Mango is beautifully nestled in amongst the hillside rainforest trees of the mountain foothills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Ours has a panoramic view of the river valley, mountains and Pacific Ocean. This whole coastline for approximately 60 km is the only place in Costa Rica where the mountains (Costena) gracefully slide into the Pacific Ocean. Look at the photos and start packing your bags. The villa Hotel has been intentionally situated to be central to all major tours, attractions and the future international airport. This whole Southern Coastline is the "PEARL" of Costa Rica between Jaco-Dominical and Golfito-Panama border.
The Mango is a Charm in the Jungle. This area is called Tres Rios de Coronado is the new and an upcoming area with a bowling alley, golf course and hospital nearby. Be in on the tranquility of this piece of Heaven. It doesn't get much better. You want privacy, nature at its most luxurious, and an opportunity to steer your own direction as a business opportunity?

Each of the five villas has two large rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom that can accommodate a number of beds, a double sink bathroom, a walk-in lockable closet and a living area with sofa bed (best mattress), seating, the kitchen and a full length terrace for outdoor enjoyment of the canopy, surrounding nature and the sonorous Coronado River below. Sleep to the rushing river sounds after a typical Costa Rican rain.

The second level on this remarkable hillside houses the "Rancho" with outdoor undercover full kitchen and seating for up to 28. This is a perfect place to cook meals for guests or for cooking classes. Next to the rancho is the pool and jacuzzi pool. There is also a storage room and potential office. The third level up houses two restrooms and three small rooms that can be either treatment rooms or single bedrooms. Below one of the villas is the laundry room, a massage room and an exercise room.

Below and toward the road is a parking area for up to 10 cars, a gated driveway and a worker's house for employees. The property is approximately 3 acres, bordered on two sides by roads and with this are two sources of excellent mountain spring water.

Located three kilometers from the coastal highway gives the Mango approximately 10 degrees cooler climate and also eliminates the coastal bugs. The coastal waters in this stretch of coastline are the breeding ground of the humpback whales, dolphins and humpback turtles. The C. R. Govt. is very conscious of doing it "right" in this area as they were not very environmentally conscious of the Northern Coastal areas. Ours is far more pristine, natural and many laws and organizations are in place to preserve this gorgeous coastline and its biodiversity. It is still a green pioneer's delight!
The current hotel operator is a creative developer and upon visiting you can see all the personal aspects she has graced this lovely site with. She is looking forward to retirement to continue with her creative bent of painting, gardening and writing. She is not a hotel operator, but a follower of themes of healthy life-style, biodiversity and ecology. Her success has been in this creation. The Mango needs someone with marketing/hotel management and business skills. It needs someone who has the vision of moving in and taking this to a new level.
