Noise : Very quiet. Small engined aircraft only fly from Pavas Airport once in a while, from 7am to 3pm at the latest. Noise from these is barely perceivable.

BUILDING DESCRIPTION - CASA LUNA
PAVAS / San José, Costa Rica.

Thermal protection:
No national building regulations, not necessary because of tropical climate.

Soundproofing:
No national building regulations.
Noise from neighbours: almost none, children from time to time. 
Airport noise: can be heard with open windows / doors, volume of flights low.

211.4 Waste water / sewage:
PVC pipes internally, leading to public collecting tanks of
the Condominios.

211.5 Concrete and reinforced concrete works:
Foundation slabs, all walls reinforced. 

211.6 Masonry:
All walls: cement blocks filled with cement.

211.6 Plastering and building ancillary works:
Patios: ornamental blocks.
Rest of the house: facade, exterior walls and interior walls - rustic plaster.
Except north side exterior (towards the river): smooth plaster.
Balcony, first floor, left: sealed against moisture.

215.2 Facade:
Block with a rustic plaster.

221 Windows, exterior doors, gates:
Some windows and doors made of wood, others in aluminium. Originally all were made of wood, but were replaced as necessary by aluminium windows and doors due to weathering.
